Between here and there...

First things first, you aren’t behind. If you have breath in your body, there is an opportunity for God to be God. He desires to take the wheel at all times. He wants for you to taste and see that He is good.

Have you ever found yourself overwhelmed at what is possible—your entire paradigm expanded—but God is saying to wait? You can see the promise, but a little more character development needs to occur.

It’s frustrating!

Similar to when Nemo and his classmates see the boat and want to touch it. Nemo is determined and doesn't heed the warning but does it anyway. The boat represented a challenge and the idea of something greater.

Only to find himself in a fish tank—yikes.

Nothing about your life or call is typical. God deals with us in unconventional ways. When Joseph saw the original vision, it looked nothing like what God revealed in the end. However, his character was purged until God’s promise came to pass (Psalm 105:19).

God isn’t expecting us to have it figured out. He is expecting us to trust Him fully. What God has for us far outweighs what we allow ourselves to settle for or what we can comprehend.

Trust looks like rest!

Trust looks like knowing God knows best.

Therefore let’s start making decisions from a place of peace. At first, it won’t feel like it. Peace is embedded in the clarity of knowing God is in control. Obedience far outweighs the sacrifice. If God tells you to release a thing, trust that He will provide what is next swiftly.
