Am I the problem?
Building anything to sustain requires playing the long game. It’s easy to get caught up in pursuing success, forgetting about the importance of refining our character to be a person of integrity.
I want to help YOU discover the power in your voice—found inside your obedience to God and willingness to believe who he is and see yourself as he does. We are to depend upon Christ speaking with the authority he gives us. From there, you will feel confident in owning your story.
“Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character (Psalm 105:19).”
Your voice is not just about what people hear when you speak; it's about your authenticity and willingness to be true to yourself. Discovering and embracing the power in your voice means being unapologetically you despite doubts, fears, or comparisons. Silence the noise of contrast, and focus on being the best version of yourself each day.
If God already knows everything you’ve done or will do, how can anyone use it against you? Your story is your secret sauce. At the place of knowing God, speaking from authority, and sharing your story, we can brand YOU well.
Do you neglect your person because you're focused on building a brand or business?
When building, remember these three components:
1️⃣ Your person - how you show up daily.
2️⃣ Your brand - how people feel about you, your products, or your services.
3️⃣ Your business - the products or services you offer.
For further clarity, marketing connects you, your products, or services to the right people. Strategy is how you plan to show up on and offline to connect to the right people, leaving a lasting impression that helps them feel about you. Never neglect YOU while building. Authenticity is the focus. Marketing and strategy aid in business and brand building.
You are a person first. What are people saying about YOU when you aren’t in the room? What are your core values? For example, you should strive to be a servant leader with honor, humility, and integrity.
Building a solid brand or business requires consistency, authenticity, and a reputation for delivering value. Show up intentionally, offer exceptional products or services, and go above and beyond to serve your audience. Doing so can create a brand that opens doors and propels you to the next level.
It’s not about a catchy logo or a well-executed marketing strategy. It’s about YOU—the person behind the brand or business. Do you have the character and integrity necessary to serve well?
Remember:
Overnight success is rare.
Growth happens over time.
Endure the process.
Trust God’s timing.
Continue showing up.
