Creating from trends vs. creating from authenticity
Watch this ⬇️:
👩🏾💻 Many people follow popular trends and opinions instead of valuing their thoughts.
Are you people?
Yet, it is our transformation from the experiences that intrigue people. If you follow fake trends, your content won't be original and won't connect with your audience.
To make real content, we must use our own experiences for inspiration.
Highlight the path to transformation. How do they get from point A to B?
For instance, for me, the ages between 14 and 16 were crucial. I discovered my love for journaling. Over time, journaling evolved into a way of connecting with God. Writing helped me write poems, express my concerns, and handle anger. Even when bad thoughts came up, I could hear the Lord telling me the truth. He helped me understand myself better from his point of view.
I advocate for journaling so much, I created journals to guide you in documenting your experiences.
By embracing our truth and allowing God to rewrite the lies, we can connect with others on a deeper level. Creating from an authentic place sometimes requires inner healing and a fresh perspective. We need to acknowledge our past, heal any hurts, and channel them into our creativity.
When we create content from our true selves, our stories shape our brand. How do we want people to feel after interacting with us? What conversations are to be had about us when we aren’t in the room? We draw people to us by communicating and thinking in a way that resonates with them.
Authenticity attracts.
To create, we must use our perspective, embrace our experiences, and share our stories. It requires inner reflection, healing, and the courage to be vulnerable. When we do this, we not only make our content stand out but also connect with our audience.
➡️ Answer this in the comments: Think about the experiences that shaped who you are today. What did your younger self need more of at an age you remember the most?
