In today's edition of "I Don't Know What I'm Doing," I find myself at a crossroads, navigating through life by faith and embracing the unknown. It's a journey of growth, trust, and making decisions that will shape my future. As I reflect on this moment, I realize that everything I've been through has been necessary for my personal and spiritual development.
Surrendering my plans for God's plans is not for the faint of heart. There are moments when I think I have it all figured out, making meticulous plans without consulting the one who knows my path better than I do. But then, God gently reminds me to pause and ask myself, "Do I trust him?"
It's in those moments of surrender and trust that I find peace—although I get there kicking and screaming. I've come to understand that every detour, every frustration, and every disappointment has a purpose. They shape my character and teach me valuable lessons that I couldn't have learned otherwise.
In this journey, I've learned to let go of my desires and align my will with God's. It's not an easy task, as it requires letting go of control and relinquishing the illusion of certainty. Walking by faith means acknowledging that I don't have all the answers and that I am willing to follow God's lead, even if it takes me down paths I never intended to go.
It's a daily reminder that my perspective is limited, but God's perspective is limitless.
He sees the bigger picture and understands how every piece of my story fits together. As I trust in Him, I am comforted by the fact that He is working all things together for my good, even when I can't see it in the present moment.
So, if you find yourself in a similar situation of uncertainty:
1️⃣ Remember that it's okay to not have all the answers.
2️⃣ Embrace the unknown and walk by faith, trusting that your steps are guided by a loving and faithful God.
3️⃣ Surrender your plans and be open to the beautiful surprises and lessons that unfold along the way.
The journey of faith is not always easy, but it's worth it. In the end, you'll look back and realize that every step, every decision, and every struggle has a purpose.
So, my friend, let's continue walking by faith, knowing that we are never alone on this journey. Share this with someone who needs the encouragement.
