What if obedience is one of the hardest yet most rewarding things we’ll ever learn?
The way you describe endurance and trusting God even when doubt and fear try to take over really resonates. It’s true—obedience doesn’t feel easy in the moment, but looking back, we can always see how
God was shaping something bigger. Your journey of writing and choosing to document this process on Substack is so powerful, and
I love how you compare it to building an altar. I’m curious, how has this process changed your perspective on trust and endurance over time? Keep going—your words are making an impact! ✨
Obedience is one of the hardest things for me because, in certain moments, my flesh wants to revert to what’s familiar—even when I know I can’t return.
Endurance is birthed through obedience and demands a lot of trust—trust that is constantly tested. Do I trust God in every phase, even in the silence? It reminds me of Paul when he said he knew what it was like to have plenty and to have little, yet through Christ, he could do all things because his strength and well-being was dependent on the Lord who knows his end from the beginning. (How humbling?)
I see transition as a mindset shift and change as the experience. For change to be embraced, the mindset must first align.
Excited for you to fulfill what Christ has told you to do. I’m passionate about writing myself and a Christian published author, so I can sense when another WOG will have a glorious weight of knowledge and wisdom (because of the favor of The Most High) attached to her fingertips and/or pen as she writes!!!
May the beauty of the Lord rest upon you and may He establish the works of your hands (Psalm 90:17)!
I’m looking forward to reading this. Obedience is often one of the least discussed topics, especially during challenging seasons. Pairing it with endurance and transitions feels like such a timely topic for me.
This warms my heart because walking by faith can be overcast by uncertainty. *Deep sigh* I am committed to seeing this through even if you’re the only reader. That’s all that matters 🥹🤍
The purpose behind it holds greater value than the number of people who see it, because as long as you stay aligned with your purpose and move in obedience, the numbers will follow.
